Create a free website, Free MySpace layouts & Flash MySpace layouts
Last week I was going looking through google, nothing new there. I was actually scouting around for cool templates that I could incorporate into a myspace I had made for my little band. After a couple of hours of trying different online template builders I was quite disappointed. Most of these tools where directed towards personal myspace profiles. Even so, quite frankly I can say that the results appalling. The outcome of layouts that were produced by these simple tools where beyond ridiculous.
I was about to give up when I came across a nice looking webpage, Wix. I think, this looks quite familiar. Oh wait, I had actually signed up to this page about one year previous but the were still under heavy development so I had forgotten about it. Well, I can definately say that Wix is now very functional.
Firstly, Wix is a very neat web tool that can be used to create nice looking flash integrated based pages in a quick and easy manner. Initially as you enter the page you can see that it is actually powered by its own framework and the results are quite impressive.
I can say that you can use this to also create myspace pages or section to include in your myspace page. The process of creating is very easy:
1 - You choose a template or decide to start from scratch
2 - You freely modify anything within it. You can add any kind of media too.
3 - You apply design tools to make it look professional.
4 - You upload the content where you please.
I quickly gave Wix a shot and inserted a couple of simple looking flash pages within Music Myspace for my band. See it here.
For the record, the songs uploaded are still in production process and with no vocals just in case you decided to give them a listen. The band´s name is "the way of kami".
